Universiti Teknologi Mara Kuala Pilah
Universiti Teknologi Mara Kuala Pilah, Kuala Pilah is one of the seven districts in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is the third largest district in Negeri Sembilan after Jempol and Jelebu. Kuala Pilah is located in the heart of Negeri Sembilan, surrounded by the Jelebu region in the north, the Jempol area in the east, the Rembau and Tampin areas in the south and the Seremban area in the west. It can be reached from Seremban via Jalan Bukit Putus, from Tampin via Mawang Water Street, Johol from Segamat via Bahau and from Simpang Pertang via Batu Kikir to Pahang.
UiTM Campus Kuala Pilah is one of the branches of Universiti Teknologi MARA located within Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus, Malaysia. The campus was established in Kuala Pilah in June 1999, making it the newest campus for the state in Malaysia and the last for UiTM.
Originally, the Kuala Pilah District Council was known as the Kuala Pilah Municipal Council (MBKP) and was set up in February 1957. MBKP was categorized as City Council along with other smaller towns like Rompin, Kampung Tengah, Tanjung Ipoh, Padang Lebar, Juasseh , Batu Kikir, Jelai, Dangi, and Sri Menanti. The Rompin City Hall and others were set up in 1937 during the separation of Kuala Pilah town and were named as MBKP from small towns like Rompin Tanjung Ipoh and Seri Menanti. Kampung Tengah, Senaling, Dangi, Jelai, Batu Kikir, Padang Widang, and Juasseh and other areas are referred to as the Rompin City Council. The administration is conducted by a House Member appointed by the government through Johol / Air Mawang office. The District Council was established on June 1, 1959 with 11 members of the administrative hall of about 30 hectares. Prior to 1962, all Board members were elected through elections pursuant to Article 5 of the Local Council Ordinance 5, 1952. Furthermore, all members were appointed by the government.
