Universiti Teknologi Mara Kampus Raub
Universiti Teknologi Mara Kampus Raub, Raub District is a district in Pahang, Malaysia. Located in the west of Pahang, the district bordered Lipis District, Jerantut District, Temerloh District, Bentong District and Hulu Selangor District of Selangor clockwisely. Raub district consists of 7 mukim (sub-districts), namely Batu Talam, Sega, Semantan Ulu, Dong, Ulu Dong, Gali and Tras. With an area of 2,271 km², Raub district is situated in west of Pahang and between two range, Titiwangsa Range and Benom Mountain Range. Raub district also is home to Fraser’s Hill.
The Campus of Raub is a campus located in the Mukim of Gali in the district of Raub. It was established through planning by UiTM’s top management to provide more learning opportunities especially to Bumiputeras. The campus was built by the Private Financial Initiative (PFI) by the concessionaire of Utusan Intelek Sdn. Bhd. The campus area is 80 acres and the area used for development is 30.5 acres. Construction of the campus started on November 1, 2012. The groundbreaking ceremony of the campus was officiated by YAB Dato ‘Seri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister on 04 May 2013. After 3 years of construction, the campus was successfully completed on October 31, 2015. The Raub Campus was also visited by KDYTM Tengku Abdullah Al Haj Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Tengku Mahkota Pahang on June 28, 2015. The campus was fully deployed to UiTM Pahang Branch on 13 November 2015. With the acceptance, the Raub campus has commenced operations on 29 November 2015.
