Klinik Veterinar Universiti Malaysia Kelantan, the Veterinary  clinic offers the following services. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is the fourth faculty established in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK). The establishment of this faculty is parallel to the Ninth Malaysia Plan and the First and Second National Agriculture Policy (DPN2: 1992 – 2010) – placing focus on the well-keeping of livestock health and the development of the livestock industry with the purpose of exploiting agriculture in generating a healthy national economy. This is in line with the National Biotechnology Policy based on the nine trusts where all are associated with the generation of industry and product commercialization based on agriculture and improvement of food production.

Mobile Veterinary Clinic


Mobile Veterinary Clinic, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) was design and build up to meet the need for conducts the professional veterinary activities at the community level.  It was an idea from former dean, Prof. Dr Mohd Azam Khan Goriman Khan.  Many veterinary services can be provided to suite the program at various places. The engagement with other sectors such as State Authorities, District Authorities, Public and privet sectors, schools and many more create an avenue for our clinic to educate the communities and at the same time provide the services. The activities were a platform for the Faculty to engage our Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students with local people and develop better soft skill.
Mobile Veterinary Clinic, UMK will help the students in teaching and learning process in different environment and hopefully it will enhance idea and interest to ward profession.  Many treatment and surgical procedure can be conducted and it will benefit the student and publics. There are a number of activities that being done such as attachment with State and District Authorities for Spaying and Neutering Program, with schools for exposure and introduction to the pupils regarding veterinary practice, and with NGO’s for special events.
