Human Resources Division is responsible for ensuring that the Human Resources are taken from the group of talented, skilled, motivated and qualified in their respective fields.

Training Unit (Administration), Professional Development Section

1. Designing, implementing and monitoring the administrative staff professional development programme.
2. Collect and analyze the effectiveness of the administrative staff professional development programme.
3. Preparing a report on the implementation of professional development programs for administrative staff.

Advanced Studies Unit, Career Development Section

1. Manage and coordinate the application of academic staff under the SLAB / SLAI / Sabbatical / postdoc / Sub-Specialty scheme
2. Manage the application to extend the study, deferment of study, collect data and present their paperwork during the study leave.
3. Coordinating the university approval related to the SLAB / SLAI / Sabbatical / postdoc / Sub-Specialist with the Ministry of Education (MOE).
4. Provides projections study leave and monitoring the affairs of advanced studies academic / non-academic
5. Cooperating with government-linked company (GLC) on executive development tcourse
6. Advanced Studies Committee Secretariat
7. Managing the Global Outreach Programme (GOP) implementation

Talent Management Unit, Career Advancement Section

Talent Management:

1. Planning, implement and monitor on the New Staff Orientation programme
2. Planning, implement and monitor the staff compulsory programme
a. Transformasi Minda based on public service circulars currently in force
b. Teaching and learning courses (permanent and contract)
3. Planning, implement and monitoring of Bridging Programme Course implementation for the Laboratory Assistants
4. The holder of the basic course record of employee services
5. Planning, implement and monitoring the implementation of mentor programme & UMS mentee
6. To plan, implement and monitor the implementation of the empowerment program staff leadership
7. Identifying candidates to attend courses organized by AKEPT

1) Human Resources Planning Section

1. When the transfer of staff made?

Usually 1 or 2 times a year depending on the needs.

2. Can a disposition to cancel?

Cannot. Staff were instructed to move the transfer must follow the instructions.

3. What is the procedure of a transmission made by the staff?

Employees must make an application to the Human Resources Division, by writing a letter of application together with the reasons for the transfer were made and must go through the Head of Department

i) The Officer being assessed (PYD) – university staff

iii) The Assessing Officer (PPK) – immediate superior officer to officer PPP and has a working relationship with the PYD
iv) Human Resource Development Panel (HRDC) – Composed of the Chairman (Vice-Chancellor) and members (three (3) Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Bursar and Liberian) which works to finalize the Performance Evaluation Report (LNPT) Officer.

– Most of the questions – Examination questions derived from the Public Service Department.

3. What is the process for a person to apply for UMS staff to follow courses in Examination Unit and Competency?
